Keystone Integration Guide
Keystone is a hardware wallet designed to serve as a reliable and secure signer for cryptocurrency transactions. Its primary functions are twofold: safeguarding the user's seed phrase and executing secure signing operations. The device prioritizes security by utilizing QR code technology for data transmission, thereby minimizing potential vulnerabilities associated with direct connectivity.
Getting Started
Integration with Keystone is straightforward, but it is essential to first understand how the integration process works. To provide a clear overview, we have prepared a brief video demonstrating the functionality of the Keystone device in conjunction with MetaMask. This visual guide will help users grasp the seamless interaction between the two platforms and facilitate a smooth implementation process.
Understand how things looks like
Break down what happend.
This demonstration video illustrates the seamless integration of Keystone with MetaMask Mobile. The process can be summarized in four key steps applicable to all integrations:
- the user pairs their software wallet with Keystone.
- the software wallet generates an unsigned transaction, displayed as QR codes.
- Keystone then scans these QR codes and signs the transaction, producing a signature.
- the software wallet receives the signature, constructs the complete transaction, and broadcasts it to the network.
